Gear knob

Are there two different types of 6 speed gear knobs on the mk7.

I bought one on eBay , a chrome one but it's too big and doesn't have the lift up bit.

Can I modify it maybe.

I think fwd and rwd are different i know i got 1 off mr punto and it was longer.

Transit knobs are horrible get a custom 1 it's real leather and lovely

I've got one if you want it. It was removed from a 2011 FWD. Were you looking for black or silver?

I want to fit the Trend type gear knob to my 6 speed RWD 2010 Transit. Is this the correct one, mine is lift reverse:

You want part number 1798600, that's the genuine Ford leather knob for the Custom and Connect, the lift up ring is part of the gear stick not the knob.

Mine is a Transit though not a Custom or Connect, it has been posted that only the Transit one will fit because it is the 6 speed version. The ebay ad says fits transits until 2016?

Hence why I need to be sure.

Is there any reason why this won't fit my 2010 RWD 6 speed Transit? I know I have the MT82 gearbox and this is for the MMT6 gearbox but it looks identical?

I am still trying to find out if the MMT6 gearknob part number 1803356 will fit my Transit, 2010 T350 115 6 Speed RWD?
