Fuel Filter lines

Postby nicwest » Sun Jun 19, 2016 10:47 pm

My 07 2.2 wouldn't idle or start well this weekend, found the fuel filter lines had chaffed on the air filter housing ; quick fix with duct tape lasted for the 250 mile drive home tonight. Can only find genuine ford lines, are there cheaper alternatives? also how do I bleed after refitting these?

Oh and Hi- again! was on here a couple of years ago, had a PRV valve, fuel filter and pump learn done by Loot; but had to rejoin today as had forgotten all login info.

Thanks; was wondering about standard hose but have resolved to go by the book on this van ( duct tape withstanding!) Is bleeding an issue after changing the hoses? Guess it can't matter on the black return pipe?
