mk6 loadbay light fault

Just brought a mk6 53 plate has got led strip light in the loading bay but they wont work changed the fuse as it had blow chased the wires back no sign of brake in cable. Went out brought another light to see if that would work but still no joy could anyone help please

Have you checked to see if there is power to the light unit Power to the load space lights is controlled by the rear cab light switch, so if it's off, the load space lights will be off too. If the cab light doesn't work either, then you may have a blown fuse.

If you do have power at the rear light, you may have the LED's connected the wrong way round
