if it's emptying/drawing air into the filter it's not the pump....you more than likely have an air leak upstream of the filter or the pick-up in the tank is not as it should be.

What makes you think it's the pump?? Have you had the codes read??

If you do replace the pump, you'll need to do all the learns via IDS or similar.

the pump stopped working no noise from it at all checked all fuses and relays but no good changed it and new one making noise, but the filter is just running dry the van will drive but when u turn it off and try to start again it won't till I fill the filter with fuel

07 has no in tank pump so fuel is pulled up by the fuel pump on the engine..
If the filter is emptying its getting air into the system. Ive read on here about seals on poor quality filters letting air in, also filter heads with a crack in them doing same

OK so put pump on no good changed filter and filter head and all the pipes and still no good any ideas

Have you checked all the pipes ...all the way back to the tank..??

yea just put all new ones on there got it starting now it's lost power done a pump learn as well van is now driving but now has no power at all
