Hi thanks for all the help in Hill start I posted a few wks back on 2009 front wheel drive transit . I am now finding first thing in the morning it's a bit more difficult to select 1st and second gear once it's done a few miles it's OK but 2nd is a bit notchy when changing down quick from 4 th to 2nd noticeable more when slowing down to turn into a side street going from 4th to 2nd sometimes it struggles to go in then other times its ok. Aby advice please
Hi update today when changing up all OK but changing down or selecting and gear from stationary it bulked going into gear I am thinking the clutch is not disengaging fully causing drag. Going to bleed clutch hydraulics to see if that helps. Or is it definitely the clutch on the way out
is it FWD, i have similar issue, changed all parts bar the clutch itself, mechanic told me clutch was fine though, changed the box oil, better when hot, but still a cow when cold, as the mornings get colder its getting worse
Same on mine. My clutch is almost new though so it ain't the age / milage of it. I'm thinking Could be clutch drag (bleed) Or Cable adjustment Or Does the Mk7 have the same selector turret bearing problem as the mk6? In which case that is on the maybe list...
