Glow plug light keeps flashing

Hi all,

Iv got a MK6 ford transit t280 100 2002 and the glow plug light keeps flashing ever since I reconnected the glow plug wire that had been snipped, its never had a starting issue it starts first time every time and always has
its just I was doing some work on the engine and I found the wire linking to the glow plugs had been cut! naturally I reconnected it but this brought the coil light on and it wont stop flashing when just the ignition is on or engine is started. any help would be appreciated Thanks up front.

Flashing glow plug light is telling you there is a dtc present get the codes read and take it from there.

Or disconnect the glow plugs and see if it stops flashing my glow plugs have been disabled for 3 years now. N

Hi, i solved the problem i had a full engine and gearbox service done and the light stopped flashing also it stopped smoking, just goes to show you cant trust the guy you bought it off ha ha he told me it had just had a service.
