Heating in the rear seats

Postby Hossa » Wed Jan 18, 2017 9:07 am

Hi all

I have a minibus Transit 2011, 9 seats TDCi. I have noticed that my roof heater in the rear seats is not giving any hot air despite working fan while the heating is fully ok at the front seats. What could be the reason? Is there any separate heating element for the rear part, fuse? A functioning heating is very essential because of the cold and icy weather we have in Sweden. Please help!! :( :( :(

The rear heater blower motor is listed as a seperate fuse from the front. Have you checked that?

Yes Punto, I have checked fuse nr 57 for the rear heater blower. It is ok. The rear fan gives cold air while the front one gives really hot air.

The rear heater temperate control valve commonly fails so the heater stays cold

It's apparently the same as the unit in a Fiesta
