Left indicator turns on with headlights

Hi I've got a 55 reg transit. When I turn the headlights on my left indicator comes on. It doesn't flash it just stays on. Also when I indicate left without the headlights on my headlights flash on and off. It's like they are connected to the same switch. Can anyone help. I think k it's a relay but not sure if they are connected.

i would say you've a faulty /loose earth connection ..

Would the earth problem be at the headlights or the relay. I'm hopeless with electrics. Or should I just check everything ?

It'll be either the headlight plug, or the earth connection on the wing

I'm thinking it could be the one on the wing as I jet washed
The van last week and it was after that when the problem started

Headlight plug in the back of the light looks OK. Where do I find this earth connection?????

Are the side repeaters in the wing or the mirrors If they are in the wing have you the correct bulb fitted
