transit 90ps to 115ps

what do i need to do to be able to put a transit 2.4 115ps to replace a 2.4 90ps

do i need the 115 ecu and do i have to change the wiring loom as well

Engine,engine bay wiring loom dash wiring loom , digital clocks etc and a load of time

my 90 is a 05 plate with the digital clocks and dose that mean i dont have to change the dash loom and my engine bay loom has all the boost sensor the same as the 115 do i dont see y i would have to change the loom

If both are 05 you may get away with the ecu ,115 pump and injectors.The dash and engine bay loom should be ok but the engine loom may not

oki thanks for all the help mate one more thing the ecu in the van is a 90ps and i want to use a 115 engine pump and injectors wont i have to change the ecu

Yes, ECU, Pump, and injectors all needed, plus possibly the engine loom :wink:

Yes, ECU, Pump, and injectors all needed, plus possibly the engine loom :wink:


oki thanks for the info mate i will be doing the swap some time this week i will update and let everone no how it went

oh one more thing sorry about this but can i use 115 injectors on a 90 engine

correct me if im wrong , but if the ecu is changed dont it need the keys reprograming as well ?

Yes, or get the keys from the donor and swap the chips

Look I have a mk6 2.4 115ps. Engine is shagged. Can I use a 90ps engine with 115ps fuel pump, injectors & turbo fitted to it. :idea: :roll:

NOTE:-
90ps uses a Bosch VP30 fuel pump.
115ps uses a Bosch VP44 fuel pump.

i want to change from 90ps to 115

the 115 post thats about my other truck i rebuild the engine in that.


i got a new truck cheap needs new engine and i have every think for 115 spare thats y im gonna replace the 90 with it i want to replace the 90ps engine with a 115 complete engine.

and my mate has a 90ps truck with fu*k injectors thats y i was wondering if u could use 115 injectors in it as i got some spear
