Yes. QVFA engine can be used as a replacement for P8FA :D

BUT. P8FA can't used as a replacement for QVFA :!:

OVFA is 110ps engine with oil cooled pistons.
P8FA is a 85ps engine with non oil cooled pistons.
It's fine running 110ps engine at reduce power - 85ps

Running a P8FA (85ps) engine at 110ps. Could lead to premature engine failure (cracked/holed pistons)

Ahh ok so basically putting a qvfa engine in the ecu will make it essentially a p8fa willl I need any other parts or is it simply plug and play

Can't use original injectors as number 2 blew the engine and took out the turbo by overheating it so am I good using this qvfa with its own injectors and turbo

It'll need the injectors coded on ids, and then pump and pilot learns done, or it won't run as well as it should

Yes you can use injectors on QFVA engines. 110ps injectors are the same for 85ps (part no 6C1Q-9K546-AC)

As Ake posted previously. You'll still need to program injectors & perform injector & fuel pump learns.

Ideally you'll need to code them in, otherwise she'll never run at her best/most efficient. Is easy to do with IDS. Once they're coded, she'll need the learns done again.
