Intermittent ecu light on with loss of power.

Hi wondering if anybody can help, I have a 2013 ford transit 2.2 diesel and intermittently the engine light comes on and it goes into limp mode.
If it turn engine off then back on it is fine, I have a Launch code reader which is very good at ford but there are no faults in the ECU,
I no EGR valves are common to play up on them so replaced the EGR valve and reset the settings of it, but it appears to of made no difference.
Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a launch code reader that is mostly set up for Ford and it is giving me no fault codes.
Trouble is I no of few things it could potentially be but not in the position to be throwing money at it

If the light comes on at all it "WILL" have stored a fault...whether it be current, pending or historic...Your "launch" reader won't be able to see the "Historic" or "Pending" codes....She needs to go on IDS...IDS sees all.

Still not managed to get this into the stealer but thought I would provide an update,
Have carried out Stationary Regen of the DPF and the light has not come on since.
But I do have an intermittent battery light coming on now, seems occasionally the charge rate stays at 12volts at idle.
