I had same was the wheel bearing, will get worse and sound like metal on metal.

If you're had new discs and pads it might be a case of the hub nut not being tightened up enough, worth checking as its free. N

Have you checked the front springs are not broken? Generally a coil will break on the bottom.

ive looked at everything but all seems ok.( I'm no mechanic thou )

the only thing that looks dodgy is my lower ball joint which is split but I'm not getting a knocking noise.i spayed grease in it but hasn't done anything.

UPDATE..just had both front wheel bearings done and the noise is still there..

think ive found it..this metal sheet thing was catching the exhaust so ive bend it back a bit.it seems ok for now.
