Sorry to administrator before hand,but I am not sure if other messages are posted
Here's the question
I have gearbox problem
By vehicle is 2007 mk7 2.2 fwd
Model 85 t260,next max power(kw)63,
Would a mk6 fwd gearbox fit my van,?

Yes as long as it it the 5 bolt gearbox

Some MRk 6 boxes are 4bolt

Would a Mondeo 5 speed box off 2.2 tdci fit my transit 2.2 tdci?

Is it amount of bolts on top half of bell housing that fixes to engine??

No it's the gearbox mounting on the gear box 5 bolts on the top holding the bracket the one on the sided mate

If you struggle i have one a 5 bolt one for sale

Ok Karl,thanks for the info,
I think it is box has gone,
Apart from the mounting part of if,boxes are compatible?
I did not put 75w90 oil in when engine went back,like said before have checked oil first thing in the morning,there is lot of bubbles in it,
If I cannot source locally,how much are you asking for yours

I think there are two different drive shaft splines in the diff too...best to check first.

Yes there is for early mk6 gearboxes :wink:
