Anyone know rough weight need to collect one in van .I'm hoping has a hoist his end just my end unloading it .

it took 3 of us and an engine hoist to put one on the back of a 3.5 ton dropside, the hoist didnt go high enough and still 3 people struggled to get it up the rest of the way

so fairly heavy

If your getting it from a breakers they normally have a fork lift so loading should be an issue. N

It's got tail gate on the tourneo did think hiring van but then have to swop it van to van .Just long trip with dodgy engine in tourneo worries me a bit .At least if it's in the tourneo can go to garage with it in .I'll ask the seller I think make sure .

A forklift cant load a torneo easily as the forklift would reach the tailgate before the engine reached the floor. If it just the engine then I'm confident I can lift my end :lol: at the breakers there will be enough bodies to get it in then just think how the f*** to get it out :D
