2.4 rwd tipper engine hunting and problem starting

I hope someone can help with this, both problems have been on going for around 4 weeks. Tonight I went into Asda, came out after 30 mins and truck cranks over once and refuses to start, I keep trying this for the next 45 mins, then all of a suddenly decides to fire up. Previously sometimes you'd have to wait a couple of mins for it to start. The hunting issue is mainly noticeable when going up hill, but does it on the flat aswell. I'm guessing the two problems are linked. The only fault code that keeps re occurring is p1103. The egr and maf sensor have been recently changed. Any ideas on the fault would be much appreciated.

Would help greatly if you told us what machine you have..?? I suspect it's a RWD Mk7 but..??

Year model, engine PS etc...
