My 54 plate 2.0 Swb fwd t280 won't start

My transit won't start it's got a brand new starter and runs a dream when it has been tow started it will run all day from a tow but as soon as I switch it off it just won't start engine turns over but won't start any iras on what it could be i by past the filter housing thinking it was that but nope still won't start is there a pump in the fuel tank that can be giving me bother I don't think it's the main fuel pump on the engine as once it's started it sounds great no black blue or white smoke from it. But I have bn wrong before thanks in advance

i have one thats getting difficult to start, going by the problems ive had with my others, im convinced its the injectors, but i could be wrong

As above....Don't Tow Start it.....it's possible to jump the cam chain and cause all sorts of dramas...apart from the one you already have.

No pump in the tank either.

Is it a TDDi or TDCi..??

What condition is the battery in and how old is it.

Once started & runs perfect all day long.
I suggest checking diesel filter housing. Air leak resulting in fuel draining back to tank.

There is no pump in fuel tanks on mk6 2.0 SWB models.
