Plug Hanging Down at Engine ?

Postby Sean83 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 5:09 pm

I've just noticed a small black plug hanging down at the bottom of the engine on my mk7 2.4. It's at the front underneath what I believe is the water pump pulley. I've not had a chance to look at it properly but I had a quick look and couldn't find where this should be plugged in, Anyone got any ideas? Cheers! :?:

Can you take a pic for us..??

Yeah..if it is indeed the A/C connector....the looms are probably common between the two.....just tape it up out of the way so it doesn't get snagged.

Just realised there is a small plastic cap on it to protect the contacts so that would tell me that its wasn't originally plugged in anywhere so I'm guessing nothing really to worry about :)

Not the best pic but anyway this is from the top looking down

I will try and get a better one when of the plug itself when it's lighter
