hi, i have a 115 mk6 rwd and i think the turbos on its way out, my spare parts van has a perfect one but its a 90 not a 115- looks like its the same, but is it?

I have change plenty of them and the work .The mounting holes for the actuator may be in a different position but use the actuator from the spare turbo :) 135 are a no no in every sense of the word :lol:

thanks, on a laziness note, can i just pull off the turbo or do i need to take off the manifold as well

They are not all the same, but as said, it will work

im answering my own question but laziness is important- no need to take off the manifold- take off rubber pipes and 8 small bolts and 5 minutes its in your hand-not sure i needed to take off 2 of the bolts

I got a t280 125ps mk6 transit with boost problem so I'm just going to change the turbo so like said before can I take a turbo off any mk6 transit and will it work as it should also do I need to take out the engine to change the turbo many thxnks

I don't I thought it might be easier to put a complete turbo on then to mess about with it lol do you think it might be something else then please help me lol its doing my nut in now lol

Because some moron before he bought the van put a new turbo on it and it didn't run afterwards, he has had lots of fun with the maf sensor not being connected and lots of smoke, it could be possible that the person who fitted the turbo didn't put a vnt turbo on (the one for the 125ps tdci) the code he has now relate to maf, map and boost. N

No because yours is probably fwd, and so will be a tdci, so you need a turbo from the engine.

Am I right in thinking Mr Ake that the tdci (fwd) has a different turbo to the tddi (fwd). N
