Limiter removal -Leicester area

Postby Simes_8 » Tue Apr 25, 2017 12:55 pm

Hi
Is there anyone in the Leicester area who could remove the 70mph limiter on my 2011 Mk7?

Cheers, Simon.

Well currently that is an hour away from me- but if we succeeded in removing the limiter I could perhaps get home in 40 minutes!!

I have just been quoted £65 + VAT to remove the limiter at the Ford main dealer (Paynes) in Hinckley, Leics.

Any Ford main dealer should be able to do it.

65 quid..!! Takes all of 5 minutes to do once connected.....I'm glad I have my own IDS...has paid for itself many times over.
