15P04 - TRANSIT 2.2LTR - PISTON - SOFTWARE

Postby Wadey » Fri Apr 28, 2017 8:42 pm

Anyone know what it is ?
As a mate of mine has brought a 12plate and this is an outstanding recall
Will Ford still hane to do it as it's 5 yrs old
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots

They will honour it, but I'd just book it in for a budget service, they'll do the update without asking and you get 12 mo the road side assistance for £125 or so

I bought a 13plate mk7 two months ago and put it straigt in for a service. It had the piston software recall and the oil pump outstanding. Both have been honoured although the pump took two months to arrive and was finally fitted yesterday.
