Heater only blowing hot. Tourneo 59

Hi.

The internal heater is only blowing hot.
My mechanic has removed like a square black enclosed swith he says activates the valve.
Hes told me the only way to get one is a new genuine part. £200!!!

Any ideas guys if this sounds right part?
I've tried a few breakers but no luck so far

also might be worth looking inside that actuator - just found this - might be worth a go if it is just that which is broken
