leaf spring hangers

Postby stagg65 » Thu May 25, 2017 9:34 pm

So been looking at my rear leaf spring hangers on my mk6 tranny.
The fixed hanger at the back of the van is quite long and it seems to me that i could re drill the holes higher up to lower the rear end.
The only problem i could see doing this is the axle would be slightly offset.
Does this really matter.

Can you take a pic for us? Might not be safe to do so but there's some good mechanics on here who could certainly advise.
