Wont take accelaration

hi gents I have a 2006 2.4 pick up which starts first turn but will not take acceleration for about 30secs any clues or ideas what this could be many thanks

Probably just tired. Give it an early night and a long lie in the morning. Maybe talk to it nicely too.

Try an oil change, making sure it's the correct 5w-30 synthetic that goes back in.
There was a Ford bulletin about this fault years ago
