Drivers door central locking fault.

Postby Arnie-buxton » Sun May 28, 2017 7:12 am

Morning folks, I have a fault on my 2010 MK7 transit where as the drivers door is not working off the key fob, when pressed all the other doors lock but not the drivers, am i correct in presuming it is likely to be a fault with the actuator or is there another possibility dont really want to strip the door panel down and then find out it was a fuse or something ,,, Cheers Arnie.

It's either the actuator, or the wiring to it.
It's probably the actuator

Still stuck on this one folks .. Wiring seems ok, is there a relay for just the drivers door, if so where is it situated ?, I have a manual and it says that there are 7 relays , Im not sure where to look though , cheers Arnie.

No relay for just the drivers door...As mentioned...it'll be the actuator itself failed...will need replaced...pretty common problem.
