mk7 fwd alt pulley

had a weird droaning noise for a few days, noticed it a bit worse today especially on over run when you lift of the throttle

after getting someone else to do it i reckon its the alt bearing, looked them up on ebay and seen they are some sort of clutch pulley

are they easy to change ?
