SAD BAD NEWS
The fuse is blown again and again. There is a short in the reversing light circuit. I unplugged the large plug at the bottom of both A pillars and tested the two rear circuits of the van from the tail light connections - No short The two rear circuits are ok.
I tested for the short from the engine bay fuse holder. Yes a short. When I unplugged the engine bay to cabin large connector there was no short in the engine bay.
(The circuit path is white/brown from fuse to reversing switch, then orange/gray to very large engine bay connector, then to BCM brown output connector)
So it seems that the short is in the harness behind the dash. Probably where the large harness gets crushed on the steel support panel behind the glove box. So I will try slipping an insulator sheet over the steel support . If not then it is dash out today...
