MK7 wiring

Postby fjgaston » Thu Jun 22, 2017 9:59 pm

Hi, I just bought a 2008 transit, it used to be a French Police Car, maybe this one ...

The previous owner did a nasty job removing all the police wires, he removed too much as he also cut the wires for the rear auxiliary power, the cigar lighter and the left floor lights and he left some unconnected wires running in the floor.
At the rear there is a box with a 12v connector (and another connector unknown to me) I don't know if it's original :

Well now I want to get the lights, the rear power point and the cigar lighter to work again, I've seen where all the fuses are but can't find where the wire get out of the fuse box.
I also found this connector at the rear, I don't what it is for.

Do you have some ideas to help me ?
Thanks

All the additional electrics would have been separately wired from the fuse boxes

Ok but there is a fuse for "rear auxiliary power point", that would be it ?
I don't know where to wire this one

If fitted, the point will be at the rear door pillar , inline with the tail light, the cables for it run in the same loom as the tail light
