Interior lights strange fault

Postby fizzyhair » Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:37 pm

I have just popped my two cab ceiling lights off to change the bulbs. Popped them back in and they work a treat. However the rear interior lights have stopped working... All the connections on the front lamps seem solid. Clean etc. No blown fuses.

Any ideas?
How are the rear lights triggered via the front ones? I cannot find a decent wiring diagram anywhere.

Many thanks in advance

Dan

Load space lights are controlled by the rear cab light, so have you switched them off, or mixed up the two cab lights :?:

my two cab ceiling lights never worked since I bought the van(mk7 lwb fwd 350 2011) Initially though it was the bulbs but found they're fine, checked with multimeter and there is no voltage in any of those wires, any of you knows which / where the fuses for that are located? There are 4 fuse boxes in this van and don't fancy going through them all, checking one by one. Any light on this matter would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!

Dude, you're genius! It was the fuse, back to life now, that was a quick fix, thanks a bunch!
On the handbook, fuse 72 protects "Battery saver supply, OBDII (KL30)" no idea what/where the battery saver is but my OBDII was workings OK with that fuse gone so a bit puzzled by that but hey, ceiling lights working so that will do for now, thanks again!
