2.4 tddi , can i remove the sump , as its leaking, without taking the engine crossmember off. i know the crossmember is 16 easy bolts but im being lazy

If the mk6 is the same as mk7 then it can be done in place! I've done it drop it, turn it, take off oil pick-up & slide it out (That's the condensed version)

id guess its the same as a mk7 2.4, but i could be wrong

A paint scraper does a better job than a screwdriver :wink: otherwise the job is OXO :)

Agreed, i probably only had a screwdriver handy tho i guess, it's probably lucky that i did, imagine if i only had this to hand.
