2002 Transit with no rev counter

anyone fitted a stand alone rev counter instead of replacing the old dash with the newer one which incorporates a rev counter? If so is there a 'how to' and is it easy?

I was thinking the same but as the revs and stuff come through the pcm I'm nit sure if it can be done. N

ahhh ok Ned, I assumed I cud simply connect to a flywheel or some other mechanical take off point to drive the rev counter. Thanks.

I've spotted Tourneos that have 2.0 diesel engines, will these clocks function ok with my 2.4di engine with regards to rev counter and warning lights etc? Thanks for the help thus far.
