a problem while doing a pump learn .....

Postby scottie » Mon Jul 17, 2017 4:54 pm

well i changed my PRV and SCV and started to do a pump learn

while doing it it was aborted, the only reason i can think of was the cylinder head temp line was still red (not hot enough)

so i tried again and all seemed well untill the fuel preasure shot of the scale and the revs dropped but it seemed to settle and it seemed everything was fine, i think i have managed it as it recorded everything and said it was complete

but now when the van it ticking over the revs drop and there is a noise from the engine, im convinced this is the same noise as when the preasure shot of the scale, if you touch the throttle it goes back to normal for a few seconds then does it again

did i do it wrong ?

while doing the pump learn, just when do you click on the "tick" button ??

seems to be going fine now , drives smooth with no problems so far

what i did notice was when it was going through the pilot learn, it was making the same noises that it was making when i though there was something wrong just after doing the pump learn

It does that, IDS gives you info about different pressure points, engine is revving up during procedure.
