Mk6 2.4 Clutch pedal suddenly went to a low biting point?

Hi
Mk6 2.4 rwd transit van clutch issue.
Took the van out today and everything was as normal, I then nipped into the shop, Then when i went to pull away the clutch pedals bite point was very low compared to where is was previously, The van still drives fine and goes into all of the gears but the clutch does seem very aggressive when letting the clutch pedal up. Their is no fluid leaking and there i plenty in the reservoir.
The only issue i had previous to this happening was the brakes were very spongy but still worked, not sure if they could be linked to the clutch problem or not?
Any ideas please?
