rear hub seal and gasket quality

Are these fit for purpose,anyone on here used them or should i buy "genuine"?

The proper ford half shaft gaskets are orange

The question is whether these after market parts are adequate or not? Have people had issues with these seals

No idea but i bought genuine and still needed some gasket sealant, bloody shite those gaskets :?

Been working an cars since 1950's, I'm ancient. Always use gasket sealant of some type on both sides of gasket. Some really high tech joints with lapped surfaces supposedly seal with out sealant but to be drip free still require something to take up the imperfections.

The ford gaskets are 'orange' because they have a low tack sealant on their surface.
If everything is clean and free from grease/oil they should work without extra sealant.

Get new screws to hold the half shafts in place, then you won't worry about getting the old ones out.
If you have to drill the heads off the screws be careful, it is usually the head that is stuck and not the thread.

Also be ready for the torx screws hold the disc on to be very tight.
