Rear indicator and brakes faulty

Hello, the rear indicators don't work when I turn left and when I turn right the brake light flash quickly instead of indicators. The front indicators are fine though. any ideas what is happening?

i just had a similar prob with me door stop and numberplate lights
the earth in the rear door had broken in two in the wiring loom which i can only put down to the door being opened and closed so much.
also check the tail light cluster connections for corrosion.
