Mk7 transit reversing sensors fault

Hi all,

I regretably reversed into a lamp post today and have damaged the bumper on my mk7 transit 2011. The passenger side sensor was pushed in.

I have straightened it all back up but now I'm having issues with the sensors. When I start my ignition and when I start the engine, I get a long beep (even when in neutral). If I put my van in reverse, I get no beeping at all from the sensors.

I have plugged an ELM reader in but it shows no faults.

I'm guessing one of the sensors is damaged, I've tried swapping them etc but I get the same.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The long beep indicates a fault. Some code readers will only read engine codes etc.

You could try forscan or ids to interrogate the PAM




Oh, and the transit sensors are the same as older model jag xtypes, there's plenty of them in the breaker, but not too many transits with sensors

Thanks for your rapid response, I installed the demo version of forscan and i have attached the error report. It looks like I need to top up my air con and it shows another error. Do you think the error U0155 will be the sensors?

U codes are just communication codes, ignore them if they aren't constant.

There's no list of a PAM on that list, perhaps it hasn't read it?

Could it be that I'm only using the demo version?
