Duratec 23 ECU Pinout.

Postby sparkyguy » Wed Jul 26, 2017 12:32 pm

Does anyone have, or have access to a pin-out diagram for this vehicle?
Although I have quite a few resources at hand here in Australia, I can not find exactly what I need. The petrol models are not common here.
Hoping somebody can help. :)

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Woo-Hoo. Thanks so much v8dave.
That's a good start, however I have no way of knowing what the designation codes on the pins represent. [ e.g. 91S-RH15 on pin 1 ]
I suppose they might be same as in other models, but such things are not necessarily so.
Don't suppose you can help with that also ?

It's 91s not 915.

OK the codes.

Simple bit first, wire colours are in the brackets - background then trace if appropriate.

I don't know what the first part of the code relates to for sure.
However the first part of the code should relate to the circuit number.
91s appears to be the ignition coil low volts.
Unfortunately I can't find a list at the moment.

The second block of the code, that is after the hyphen refers to where the wire goes.
From the ford info
RA - Connectors
RB - Destination notes
RD - Diodes, fuses, indicators, resistors, heaters
RE - Modules, controllers
RG - Motors
RH - Relays
RJ - Sensors
RL - Solenoids
RN - Splices/Busbars
RP - Switches
RR - Transformers
RS - Units

If you look at pin 55 it has a code RE21, and it connects to fuse 21 in the battery junction box.

Will keep looking for a circuit list.

Hi, Would anyone have a pinout for the ECU on a mk7 2.3 Duratec 2007 which is also petrol. My ECU is a later one so unfortunately the pinout above does not cover mine.
