No indicator noise.

Hi All.

I have an ex Rac swb 2.4. Mk7. I have had it for 3 years and in that time, the indicators work fine as do the hazards but there is no ticking sound . I know there is no relay but the lack of ticking means I forget to switch it off sometimes.
Does anyone know where the sound is generated please? From the topics I have read about the indicators maybe I should just be pleased they work...

I believe that the little speaker for the indicators is in the back of the dash pod itself....
