Mk7 euro 5 question

Postby Steve192 » Sat Aug 19, 2017 7:48 pm

Hi,

I have a 62 plate euro 5 2.2 100 bhp model. When it's sat on idle it's quiet and smooth tick over but when I put the clutch down it seems to rev/idle a bit higher, is this a normal thing on these transits?

It's had a new dual mass and clutch fitted 2500 miles ago just before I bought it.

Also are the gearbox mounts a common thing to go as it seems to vibrate a lot when reving.

Any help would be greatly received.

Cheers

Something to do with the anti-stall software I believe, my Euro 4 does it too :)

For fook sake what are yous worrying aboot, it's anti stall and it's good for creeping in traffic jams or reversing
Shouldn't be vibrating, do you have proof of flywheel change, is the vibe through pedal or through the floor

I'm not worrying about anything just a simple question really. Having owned 4 2.2 euro 4's and them not doing it I didn't know if it was normal, thought I'd ask a forum designed for these type of questions.

Take no notice, it's fine to ask 8)

Mine has always done it, but it depends which software has been installed, as I don't think they all do it.
It is fairly common and well known though :D
