Clunk pulling away.....

Postby gavcarter » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:33 am

Mk6 tddi fwd. It's had new driveshafts, gearbox oil, gearbox seals, bearings.
Only thing it didn't get was wishbone bushes as these felt ok.
It's clunking pulling away. If you are too long on the clutch it's a judder with a slight knock. Had anti roll bar bushes too.
It's a lot more prominent on the right side, sometimes there when moving into 2nd gear too.
I would have thought bad c.v joint but it had complete driveshafts as it got rebuilt. Any ideas? I have limited time and space to get under it so ideally I want to find it first go rather than checking everything lol

Cheapest option is tighten up the wishbone bolts more especially the one into chassis
