VHF / CB radio installation on mk7

Postby Jukka » Wed Aug 23, 2017 3:13 pm

Hi,
Any idea is there any place under dashboard where I can get aux power for cb and vhf radios, or is the only solution to route cables from poweroutlet behind drivers seat?

Some vehicles have a factory fitted auxiliary fuse box on the passenger side in the top of the dash....if you don't have one it will be a fused supply from the power outlets on the drivers seat or a fused supply from the engine bay jump start point & go through the bulkhead.

I've seen higher spec vans with relay pins in the engine bay junction box with no relay in (a spare slot) that you could run a supply from. :)
No Squire, not just any van....it has to be a Mk7 (VM.1) :D
