Incodes for 2012 Transit

Postby Bltamil1 » Mon Sep 11, 2017 7:15 pm

Hi,

Forgive me if this is a daft question, but is there any way of obtaining Incodes for a 2012 vehicle without going through the Ford ETIS system? I have access to the Autokeyprog, but this will only generate codes up to mid 2010 vehicles. I have also tried PATSCode but the codes returned from that do not get me access.

I have a new BCM (all in the name of activating Cruise Control) but can't access PATS to initialise the module without the Incode...

Bcm will be dual code iirc and you'll need to initialize it.

Can't recall what the latest date i have coded but i did code a 'D' level bcm which must have been on the late limit I'm sure.

The 2012.75 mk7 and custom and mk8 will possibly be etis only.
I'm interested in this too regarding module replacement.

Yes, mine is the later Euro 5 type so can't get the code from Autokeyprog. I might give Ford a call in the morning to see if they can help with getting it programmed.

in using Forscan, and the dialogue box says it is Etis only...

I managed to speak get an Incode from Ford through their Technical Helpline, but unfortunately it didn't actually work...

Interestingly, they gave me the code without requiring the 'Outcode' information, as apparently they don't need this anymore. The Forscan programming was reporting an Outcode though...

Any ideas from the more enlightened members?

Needs a vcm that can communicate with Ford ids, Forscan, and most clones can't do it, however the vcm 3 which I think Karl has, can do it.
Maybe find a tame Ford tech at your local dealer who does cash jobs in a Saturday morning ;)

There's no VCMIII - Not yet available. Although there's a VCM IDS 3, which is essentially a pass through device.
