Mk7 odb issue

Postby Thequeenscheese » Sat Sep 16, 2017 3:56 pm

So from a different thread I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pumpkin-ELM327 ... B0185GE8GM as it works for someone else on their mk7 I've just died it in the missisess alpha mito and it works well powers up red led comes on etc.

But in the tranny nothing ne red led it just doesn't seen to get any power?

Any ideas I know the odb works as I've had it remapped recently so now I'm at a loss as to why it's not powering on?cheers John.

Unless that's one of the fake ones, but I'm sure he was plugged into that when he remapped me..

Just checked the fuse that's ok, although I'm guessing as I'm missing the lid from the dash box, and no.72 not listed under my bonnet fuse lid.

There's probably. Ore to this story tbh, I've just been reading it's the same fuse as the interior lights which aren't working and I'm not sure why, recently they did work fine we did a car boot and I popped the power supply to the load space light as the doors were open and I didn't want a flat battery, since then thinking about it the interiors haven't worked ? The clock shows --:-- on the dash and the odb doesn't work it seems, I'll suspect that this is all connected?

I'm guessing the top 10amp is the correct fuse although all look good as far as I can see without testing them

Your guess is very wrong!

No.72 is located on the Bcm behind the main fuse board, which is behind the glove box.

My transit has 5 factory fuse boxes in various locations,
Info is in the FAQ's
