Looking at buying a van. Etis says the following.

All Mk6/7 diesels have a turbo (unless they're not working!) :P

How can you tell where it was built ?

How can you tell where it was built ?


From the vin plate :wink: Etis minor details usually states unless its like mine only has primary details, the letters after XX states build plant/country

XXGB is Genk Belgium
XXTT is Turkey
XXDB is Southampton (or XXBD cant remember which way round)

Genk are usually quite clean rust wise unlike Southampton that rust while being built :lol: N

They use dirty old rusty metal before starting don't they..?? I believe they have a part number for the rust too..! :roll: Is standard equipment on all Southampton built Tranny's..!
