From the vin plate Etis minor details usually states unless its like mine only has primary details, the letters after XX states build plant/country

XXGB is Genk Belgium
XXTT is Turkey
XXDB is Southampton (or XXBD cant remember which way round)

They use dirty old rusty metal before starting don't they..?? I believe they have a part number for the rust too..! Is standard equipment on all Southampton built Tranny's..!

I imagine so...a nice salt dip seems to work wonders for them..!

Of course... with all the salt and crap your local councils throw all over the place I'm not surprised..!
