The first 4 characters define the vehicle, 6C11 is an early (up to 2008) mk7 transit and AC11 is probably a 2011+ mk7.
The next block of characters define where it goes on the vehicle, 12A650 being the ecu.
The final 2 characters are a revision code.
On your fried ecu there should be a paper or plastic label.
Written across the middle is AC-12A650-BC, to the left in smaller print should be a code DCU-201.
The 6C11 unit should have DCU-101 in the same location.
I think you need a DCU-201 unit so that the wiring will be correct and it will control the engine properly.
the DCU 101 and DCU201 have done exactly the same i cant find any difforence in the working of the van with either installed
and programmed, PCM updateed with latest calibration file, then put in injector codes, then pump learn, then read save and reset DTC codes , then pilot learn
running sweet as a nut on either ECU.
before i fried the old ECU i would regularly get a frozen throttle pedal in the morning start up and have to wait about 30 seconds for the check engine light to go out and throttle
to operate,
this has not recurred ever since new ECU has been fitted
also coded two extra keys while i was at it
