Help needed,

Postby Sjjohno » Tue Oct 17, 2017 8:50 pm

Hello guys, I’m looking on putting the 140 turbo injectors loom and ecu in my 115 fwd mk7,
After looking round I can see my turbo is the same and my injectors are also,
If this is the case is it only the loo. And ecu which stops the 115 getting the to 140 power without a remap?
I would like the 200 mark from the engine which is what Celtic tuning can get from the 140
Thanks
If this has been asked before I’m sorry but on google search shows nothing
Thanks

What year model..?? Is it a Euro-V..??

You're dreaming if you think you can get a "reliable 200ps" out of a FWD 115ps...  ..... ~170 is about as good as it gets for a RWD 140 and it is "reliable". If you want 200, buy a 200ps 5 pot.

Your turbo is not the same, 115 is a standard fixed vane turbo and the 140 is a electronic vnt.

Depending on the year of your van the injectors may be the same as the 140 or they may not.
The small injectors will not get to 140.
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Thanks guys, I’m not hoping for the 200 just from what he remap man said,
It’s a 2010 330m 115,
170 is more than good enough just thought I’d ask,
I’ve looked at the 5. But from what I’ve looked at it won’t fit into a fwd transit will it???

Thanks again

Sorry, you'll not get a reliable 170 out of a FWD 2.2 115 either. Your turbo is the waste-gate type, not the VNT. You'll need to tell us what Pn: your injectors are.

Ha ok I’m starting to understand, they tell you what you want?

I’m just trying the get the best from my van in terms of power,
I tought if I got a 140 running gear loom turbo etc I could then remap it and get a good power but with out stressing the engine out,

How do I find out what injectors they are?
Case of taking them out and looking?

There's two numbers on them, one is the calibration code number (16 digits) is on the top electrical connector, the other is the part number and it may be down on the main body of the injector.
