Ive been looking at this for about 2 months. There don’t seem to be many real life photos/screenshots of how it performs during the day and at night. Also, is night vision better or do you need IR LEDs. 120° or 170°. Where to place the thing and at what angle, because most cameras are meant for putting on cars in the central party where the number plate goes. Obviously vans are taller and you can’t place a camera centrally unless it’s on the roof, then it looks ugly and is probably going to be too high up... minefield!!!!

if you want a high quality one that works at night you should get one that is used on trucks and buses. the type usually has one of those little "roofs" on them against sun glare.
the cameras that work decently at night need those roofs otherwise they completly get swamped out by the IR from sunlight.

Really it needs to be high up and looking down, on the roof for instance, with just a bit of the rear bumper showing at the bottom of the picture.

You dont really need to see "behind" the van very far, just the rear bumper and a few feet out away from the van

After all, its the bumper that you'll hit something with...

The night red thing is bolloks as your reverse lights come on anyway
Had to replace the cam after a year and a half as it started to mist up inside a bit when it was wet

The rear view mirror would work wouldn't it. You'd be able to see out the back with camera.
