Karl took a look at van last week (huge thanks) and confirmed that it needs Injectors, Have dropped it with him today with a box of bits so hopefully it may behave for a while so I can go earn the money to cover this bill

these injectors are the ones that don't come with new correction numbers

after replacing them and getting the carboned up glow plugs out it started to rebuild the top end rocker seals, new green o ring etc , then the oil light came on   , but a good oil changed sorted this. So I could now get to sorting the diesel knock out but me ids still said no to the recon injectors and the van smokes heavily, but did on the old injectors , anyway I now have the cog light on as I can not complete the injector learn, either its down to injectors or the cylinder balance isn't correct :( :( but I get code 88 "injector exceeded learning limits" treid 3 times still no joy :(

Karl I spoke to the guy again today and replacements are on their way, will drop em off Monday.
I did ask if they were factory refurb as told or just cleaned up ones and he said they are taken from low milage runners then cleaned up and new bits added (can't remember what :? ) then sent to some specialist place in Edinburgh for testing ect. He has upped the warranty from 1 yr to 3yr so let's hope we just had a bad un get through mate.
Funny enuff he did ask about cylinders and summat else but I just thought he was looking to blame anything but Injectors lol.
Anyway have a good weekend mate..before this bloody van cabbages your head on monday

cylinder balance must be within the parameters of ids if their is a drop in a cylinders compression then the computer will still say no :( :( , but for now I have the injectors exceeding learning values :( :(

and with oil light coming :(

Sorry to bring up an old thread but was it the injectors at fault?
