You'll need to get it plugged in to read codes.

Ok. Did that today.

I bought the car last friday. After driving for 5 minutes the "water in fuel" light came on. I called a guy with some Transit knowledge and he told me about the drain valve on the fuel filter. I pulled over an drained some. The light went away and i drove 650 km home. No lights on the trip.

After 20 km driving in my town the Drivetrain light came on. Followed by the water in fuel light. I stopped and drained some more. Maybe 0,5 liter.
After that, only the Drivetrain light came on after 2 min. Followed by the Check Engine light.

Today i brought the car to the Ford dealer and on the sheet it says:

Connect to IDS, Read off, error codes in FordE-tis IDS, enter symptoms, send session files, change to IDS standard.
Error Code: P2539-PCM Low Pressure Sensor In The Fuel System, Circuit
Deleted error codes and test drive - OK

5 mins after i drove off, the Drivetrain light came on, stopped and started the engine, light came on again, followed by the Check Engine light, followed by the Water in fuel light.

Im taking the car back to the Ford dealer tomorrow.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any clue?

Have i managed to get air in the system by opening the drain valve to much?

Many thanks..

The Euro-4 machines never had a 2.2 125 PS engine. Is the engine badge on the left rear door blue or red..??

Euro 5 yes. The Ford dealer changed diesel filter and cleaned a sensor on the fuel rail i think today. And i disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes with no result. The Drivetrain lamp still comes on.
Its a tricky one this..
