I think you need IDS, but don't quote me.

Ford service is the obvious answer.

ids will not remove speed limiter from these you have to get a remapper todo it or a believe another calibration file then try again but I have been unsuccessful doing this :(

its like it locked to the pcm

I've changed mine (2008 Mk7) several times Karl....On mine there's three options, 1: None 2: 100kmh (~60mph) 3: 120kmh (~75mph). Both IDS & Forscan can do it..

I know but with these being fleet vans over here in the uk they lock them at the factory I have tried doing them with my ids v86.04

I even tried a ex royal mail van and was the same on that :(

I did one over here, not sure what van it was before I took limiter off.
Standard white van it was 08 plate.
Same as what knobby wrote.

British Gas vans have the limiter built into the pcm map, they can’t be removed by the usual methods, you need someone like vantuner to install an unlimited map for you

On mk7's Speed limiter is set in BCMII configuration :wink:
