MK6 Transit 115ps T350...Need Your help guys please!!

Hi all,

I have a 2006 transit mk6 2.4 115 t350 rwd. Starts fine and revs fine until temp gets to normal running @ 80'c then get bad spluttering when trying to accelerate, with plenty of smoke at the back when it happens. I did a fault reading and was showing Exhause gas problems. I changed the egr valve for a new one and even though the code read no longer shows gas problems I still have the same issue. EGR valve is holding vacuum without loss.

Idles, starts and drives fine when cold until temperature reached then struggles to get over 1500 revs with lots smoke at back (blueish grey)and still idles ok when hot. No fault codes showing on IDS software.

Have done:
Changed Fuel filter, Air filter
Blanked off the EGR valve (made no difference to the fault at all)
Checked vacuum pipes etc.
Cleaned and changed intercooler pipes and sensor
Replaced Head temperature sensor



Any ideas guys? Getting Very stumped with this one.

Check the plastic inlet manifold for cracks or splits
Check the inter cooler for damage
Check all boost hoses for damage
Check turbo actually boosts

Hi,

done those checks but still same symptoms.

Could this be a fuel pump issue when hot?.... it idles fine and starts fine every time... only occurs when trying to accelerate.
